Carol made my kitchen remodel so easy. Helping with cabinet selection, paint choices, countertops & backsplash, everything flowed so smoothly. She was always available for my contractor when ever questions arose. I couldn't have done this project without her!!

After working with several designers through the years, Carol is the best. Just because you have hired a designer, you don't necessarily want to spend million dollars. Another frustration with designers is getting the project off the ground and actually finished. Carol knows how to get from the drawing board to the finished, final result. I also found that she is very good at getting a feel of what you want and not necessarily what she wants. With great trepidation I looked on Houzz for an interior designer. Thank goodness I found Carol, she is the Best I have found. Thank you Carol for a great experience and beautiful results.

I've had Carol work with me on 2 different homes over the past 5 years. The first was a small 2-bed apartment in Baldwin Park and then most recently in a new 4-bed home in Winter Park. 

Carol has fantastic and yet fluid sense of taste and style. She is easy to work with, from incorporating existing pieces of art, furniture, accessories to starting completely from scratch - new paint, new furniture and furnishings -- and Carol brought a number of innovative ideas. For example, the layout of one room was to be a living room and other a TV room, but based on the lighting and the flow of the house and rooms, we've repurposed the LF to be a formal dining room and sitting area and turned the DR into a game room, which keeps us as a family more integrated, closer, and involved -- while still allowing us space. She also suggested "peg board" walls to my teenaged-son's room, which allows him to display and hang musical instruments in one instance to nerf toys in another. Carol also has great contacts, both for purchasing items to workmen -- including painters, handymen, and electricians for everything from complete remodels to adding or changing a light or switch here or there. 

Overall it has been a pleasure to work with Carol and I trust her fashion sense explicitly -- as you might imagine -- since I've hired her twice already.

Carol's ability to create a beautiful design is fantastic. She designed a new kitchen, laundry room and office for us and the designs were perfectly in line for what we wanted. At all times, she was a professional and detailed her reasons for selecting a particular design. She was also flexible when making changes and helped us get through the process. Thank you, Carol. 

We renovated our outdated 1990’s kitchen! Carol’s expertise and eye for design and decor greatly helped us achieve the updated look we wanted. Carol is amazing. Carol Fisher did an amazing job! She provided excellent guidance when I was having trouble making up my mind about color scheme, furniture size, accessories and/or rugs. She was mindful of my budget and gave me good options to work with, especially with a fire place mantel idea I had in my head but couldn’t quite get out what I wanted it to look like. My wife and I have lived in our home for 20 years, and we needed a refresh. We were referred to Décor By Carol Fisher by one of the companies we were considering for our tile. Carol quickly became our trusted advisor on anything that we would do around the house. She has such a keen sense of what would look good. Carol is very adept at taking what we wanted to do and enabling it with her creative approach. Our project lasted about 3 weeks, and we got an entirely new kitchen as well as wood-look tile throughout the house. Carol also painted several rooms. Carol was over frequently to check on the project and was on top of every single detail.

Carol worked on redesigning our lanai, a relatively small project.  Rearranging existing furniture, suggestions to tie in the outside patio, and with some minor purchases, it is much more functional and appealing.

The custom made drapes, valances and the comforter look wonderful. The extra width in the drapes were the best idea you had for us. What a difference in the total look it has made.
